Long Beach California is a part of the Los Angeles Metropolitan Region. Long Beach Airport (LGB) is the most convenient center for air travel into the area. Alternative area airports include Los Angeles International Airport (LAX) and Orange County’s John Wayne Airport (SNA). These airports offer hundreds of flights into and out of the area and are only a quick 25 minutes from Long Beach. LAX specifically is served by nearly 90 passenger and cargo airlines, including direct international flights. The area will accommodate the needs of travelers that may wish to extend their travel period and can include ship cruises and rail travel.
