Special Needs Committee

The Special Needs Committee of LBLGP, Inc. is available throughout the weekend to ensure that all the individuals with disabilities attending the 2011 Pride Festival and Parade have equitable access. Support to guest with a hearing, motion, or vision impairment include additional handicapped parking spaces, special re-entry and access ID’s, experienced ASL Language Interpreters and support services for properly identified Service Dogs. Wheel chairs are not provided, however, there are designated charging stations available to guests with motorized wheel chairs.


If you anticipate requiring special access consideration or assistance, make sure to pick up your Access ID as you enter the festival through one of the three gates.

The Special Needs team can be seen roaming the grounds wearing BLUE T-Shirts. The Special Needs Committee is committed to equitable access – please feel free to approach the team at any time. We welcome your feedback on our services, which will help us serve you better in the future.
